Online gaming software provider SoftSwiss has just released a new online slot titled Domnitors. The captivating casino game draws inspiration from the medieval history of Romania.

Throughout the 15th and 16th centuries the lands of modern-day Romania were divided by three principalities – Transylvania, Walachia, and Moldova. They were ruled by different governors, or “domnitori” in Romanian. All symbols in the slot game depict the historical background of its setting, including medieval weapons, execution tools, historical Romanian castles such as Corvin, Khotyn and Sighișoara. Apart from that, three most valuable symbols portray the most outstanding rulers of the period: John Hunyadi of Transylvania, Stephen the Great of Moldavia, and Vlad the Impaler of Walachia. The latter ruler is famous as the prototype of vampire Count Dracula in numerous works of art, all because of his brutality towards enemies.
