Greece hasn’t just joined the ranks of regulated gambling countries – it’s built a solid place for itself. Since bringing in Law 4809/2021, the market has run on a clear, EU-friendly licensing system that’s catching the eye of operators across the industry.

The Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC) oversees the market, and the results are clear: online gambling generated 28.3 billion euro in the first eight months of 2024. With strict KYC, AML, and player protection rules in place, Greece offers a market that is both secure and full of potential.
