SOFTSWISS Group Chief Security Officer Evgeny Zaretskov has been named a winner in the Top Global CISOs Awards for 2026, sponsored annually by Cyber Defence Magazine. The award marks the expert’s second international cybersecurity recognition this year, following his inclusion in the 2026 HotTopics Global CISO 100.
Evgeny Zaretskov was selected from thousands of candidates worldwide. The judges recognised the SOFTSWISS CISO’s ability to translate complex risks for senior leaders, prevent breaches and data loss, meet regulatory requirements, and build risk programmes with measurable impact.
The award is part of Cyber Defense Magazine’s 14th annual Cyber Defense Awards, which recognise CISOs as the first responders of cyberspace. These leaders defend organisations against cybercriminals, cyber terrorists, malicious insiders, and nation-state attacks while managing the risks and compliance demands that allow businesses to grow.
We’re pleased to name Evgeny Zaretskov as a winner among a small, elite group of information security professionals in our Top Global CISOs Awards for 2026, celebrating with them and announcing winners at CyberDefenseCon 2026 on October 20

Beyond protecting systems from threats, cybersecurity creates the conditions for businesses to operate with confidence, innovate, and grow. In iGaming, reliability starts with security. This recognition reflects the commitment of our teams to building a secure and resilient technology environment that our partners can depend on.
As iGaming becomes more complex and interconnected, security is shifting from a technical requirement to a strategic foundation for sustainable growth. The 2027 iGaming Trends report reflects this shift. It shows how compliance is becoming embedded into product architecture and how reliability increasingly defines the choice of technology partner.
