SOFTSWISS Hosts International Kids Camp for Employees' Children

SOFTSWISS has completed the third edition of SOFTSWISS Kids Camp, an international summer programme for employees' children. In 2026, the camp expanded to two 11-day sessions for the first time, welcoming 175 children from ten countries, including Poland, Spain, Germany, Malta, Lithuania, and Georgia.

Kids Camp has become an annual SOFTSWISS tradition over the past three years. The initiative won an Eventex Award 2025 in the Corporate Event category. The 2026 camp was built around the Reality Island concept. Children joined age-based teams and became part of an island expedition, with missions and challenges connecting the programme into one continuous story.

Three years on, Kids Camp remains one of the initiatives I’m most proud of at SOFTSWISS. It shows our people that we care about what matters to them beyond work, and that creates a stronger sense of trust, connection and engagement.

Founder of SOFTSWISS

Across the two sessions, the camp delivered around 350 hours of programming. Children created videos, tried DJing and animation, took part in outdoor activities, and even built their own small businesses within the camp's microeconomy. They earned coins for achievements, then chose how to spend them. The most popular request was one the organisers could not accommodate: using their coins to extend their stay in the camp.

For working parents, the initiative addresses a practical part of work-life balance: knowing that their children are safe, engaged, and enjoying an independent summer experience. Daily updates kept parents connected to camp life while giving children space to build friendship and make their own decisions.

This approach comes as SOFTSWISS records its strongest internal engagement results to date. The latest employee survey put the company's engagement score at 3.98 out of 5, its highest result so far, while its employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) stands at 35 – well above the median of 19 for large Information Technology & Services companies, according to Culture Amp's January 2026 benchmark.

Kids Camp gives children their own summer adventure, while giving their parents the chance to properly switch off. For us, both sides of that experience matter.
