Ivan Montik began his professional career in the banking sector as a corporate client manager. Drawing on his experience in finance and business, he founded an IT company in 2008, laying the foundations for what would become SOFTSWISS.
Under Ivan’s leadership, SOFTSWISS entered the iGaming industry in 2013. Since then, he has guided its development from a single-product business into an international technology company offering a broad ecosystem of solutions for iGaming operators.
Five years later, Ivan founded BGaming, a provider of modern online casino games featuring Provably Fair technology. He also serves as an adviser and mentor at CoinsPaid, a leading crypto-processing service, and supports several other innovative startups and businesses.
In 2025, Ivan was named CEO of the Year in the iGaming Industry at the European CEO Awards, recognising his leadership, commitment to innovation, and contribution to the sector’s development.
Beyond these roles, Ivan invests in technology startups and regularly shares his entrepreneurial experience at business, technology, and iGaming events. His recent speaking engagements include the Angels Band Summit, SBC Summit Lisbon, and SiGMA Central Europe.
