A 2025 research by the National Gambling Board (South Africa) shows that betting has become the backbone of Africa’s regulated gambling market, accounting for nearly 70% of total industry revenue. Africa’s regulated betting market has more than tripled in value since 2022, highlighting exceptional long-term growth momentum.
