Average Revenue Per User (ARPU)

Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) measures the average revenue generated per active player within a defined period, such as a month or quarter. ARPU indicates the monetary value and revenue efficiency of a player base, helping operators assess performance trends, evaluate player cohorts, and make like-for-like comparisons using a consistent methodology.

Operators must define which revenue indicator they use  (such as Gross Gaming Revenue or Net Gaming Revenue) and what qualifies as an active player for each product and jurisdiction.

How to Calculate ARPU

Total revenue for the period ÷ number of active players in the same period
